Prairie Nightmare Backyard Ultra

The race is a 6.706 km loop course on gentle trails. You first start on your first hour and must complete your lap within that hour.Exactly one hour after the first starting time, you then run another 6.706 km within that hour. This is repeated hourly. The race ends when the last runner or runners either concede or fail to finish the distance within the allotted time frame. You must be at the start line and begin racing when the start whistle is blown. Failure to do so will result in a DNF.There is a Prairie Daydream option as an introduction to "Backyard Races" and trail running. This event is for those who want to just give the "Backyard Ultra" style of event a try! You still get to run the same 6.706km loop, and you still get to start on the hour, but in this event, you can start at whatever hour you want (provided there are other runners on the course).
